The morning fog was starting to lift at Ft. DeSoto and it was getting brighter pretty quickly. I should have lowered the ISO, but I still like the high key effect here. Sharpened up the bill and eye, as I caught focus on the body instead of the head. Cloned out some gunk in the water, increased eye catchlight, added some vibrance, 15% crop.

    Nice POV.
I like the concentrated feeding pose.
I feel like you added too much contrast. Perhaps add some saturation in the colors?
Artie posted a great "how to deal with fog/mist" on his blog about 2 years ago. It was a shot of 3 monkeys in Japan. I can't find the link but if you go to his Japan trip in 2013 you will find it,

Thanks Gail, I'll look for Artie's blog post. Forgot to mention that I did run Detail Extractor on this image, so I think your comment regarding contrast is from the DE. Will try again, I appreciate your comments.

Just a little cripsy for a foggy image. Easy to overdo...I'd rework, just being careful to keep the mood. The pose and high key are very appealing.
