    I had reduced the SS as the available light dimmed just before sunset, so when she took off I didn't expect to get anything sharp. The several frames prior to this one were not, but this was better than I expected under the circumstances. Still not razor sharp. I know she's slightly past me at this point.

    D7000, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 1250, 1/640s @ f/6.3 manual.

    Bill, good job with the panning. In the small size like this, it looks pretty sharp to me, but you would know. Still a very nice image in good light. Loi

    Dynamic pose here, looks like she is going all out! I love the wide open eye and the full downstroke. I also like the single drop below the foot! I could see a version with about 20-30% of the space above cropped out for a more pano feel.
