Nice incoming pose, I think the shadow is a bit distracting, wish the light had come from the left. Loi
Very nice image, love the head on postion of the bird, sharp details with a very eye catching eye. My only suggestion would be to crop a bit from the bottom to lose the square crop a bit and to clone the 4 dark spots running across the frame behind the bird.

very nice Joe, love the light and the view of those dangling webbed feet! sharp as posted with good details. Do you have the frame right before this with wings stretched up?

Thanks for the input guys.
Arash I believe there are 4 more frames in the series. Typically cans stretch OUT not UP over their heads like mallards etc but I will take a look when I get home tonight. I did try the sharpen like you suggested from the last image seemed to work really nice thanks again.
I really like this.
The light on the head is perfect.
I am OK with the light direction although Loi has a point.
I would also clone or dodge the four round circles in the BG,
Gail
I like this, beautiful bird shown nicely. I agree on taking out the four smudged circles in the background. Thank you for sharing.

Well done Joe. Lovely looking image, I love the colours on the bird and the sharpness. Good work and well done
A nice sharp Duck in flight pose, well done....

Frame before with outstretched wing position. Quickly converted in DPP then resized and sharpened in PS. Just went for it did not try to color match or even look at the first frame.

Excellent shots! You nailed the focus. Love the details, poses and BG. Very well done!
Glad you posted the second one because I like it best. Even though the first one is sharp and clean , the shadows are pretty heavy on it. Maybe lighten the head a little more on the second one. Great capture of a very illusive duck to get IF.

Excellent flight shot. I like both.

Thanks everyone. Personally I still can't pick one over the other.
