    Image was created in Dec,2014. Basic editing, cropped for composition.

    ISO :200, 1/800,@5.6.Manual.550D,100-400.

    Great portrait of an interesting bird. I think you did well with high light and angle. Another option to help direct the viewer's eye to the bird's head and cut off some of the angle wold be to crop like this. I think I prefer my crop just a tad more b/c it focuses on the head which in this case would be what you want b/c you don't have the entire bird in the frame.

    Check out that huge bulging eye! I like Marina's crop too. I would have preferred a bit better head angle, but I tend to be picky about that
