Here's a self portrait with more of the gargoyle and a sepia photo filter toned down a bit. Maybe this one will be a little more identifiable (Or not)

I am sure I can pick out which one is you ! Gargoyles seem to be the stuff of nightmares and this one appears to be grabbing your head. Maybe if you moved your shadow up and more in line with the closest shoulder?

Love the tones and the dark mood. The gargoyle does look like he is having a bit of fun.

This one's very readable. I like the flow from the wing in the upper left to the gargoyle's head then along the outline of its body and down to your shadow. It's very nice on its own, but it also helps to make your shadow an important element in the image. The perspective and lighting are good, too.

Where are these gargoyles? Creepy. You are right, in this one I can definitely see your shadow. Nicely vignetted. Now that Nancy mentioned it, it does look like the gargoyle is grabbing your head. What I first thought was that your shadow was covering the gargoyles private parts. The light on the face and wings bring out the details. I wonder about darkening the leg on the right, which is quite bright.

Anita, you are right about the shadow. It's actually quite pornographic without the shadow. On the first gargoyle that is a close up I did a Gaussian blur on the parts that didn't need to see the light of day
