Hi Joseph, thats a cool looking bird, and Im glad most of him is posed against your killer BG. Overall, the feather detail is nice and sharp, and the comp works well. Thats a busy perch, but you knew that.

The perch may be busy but it works for me. I love the BG, and the subject looks great. Good comp. If anything I do find the deeper shadows a bit dark but as a whole the image works quite fine.

    Love this unusual perch.
You have a great view of the limpkin and the feet. IQ is very good.
    Nice BG as well.
I feel you are a bit tight on the bottom but not a big deal. I could also see a bit of a crop from the RHS to eliminate that bright stalk of grass. These changes are not necessarily better but just another option.
    Well done,
    Gail

I like the perch and the setting.

Nice frame of this bird I would like to see someday. I too like the perch as it isn't intersecting the bird much. Nice colors and exposure. Well done

Very pleasing image you have presented here, Joe. The limpkin is nice and sharp, and I love your BG. The perch works just find and isn't running through your subject.
