    I love portraits like this! I like the crop and the wonderful detail and sharpness . Great detail in the whites! Maybe darken the pupil a little? I'm not sure what it should look like, though.

    I really like the streaking background as it crosses and parallels with the birds neck curves. And you did well with those white feathers. Very nice shot and not much more I can say.

    Lovely composition and BG, looks a tad oversharpened to me but nothing to fret about. Agree about the pupil, looks unnatural...

    Lovely shot indeed. Great pop and sharpness on the eye and beak. Not sure yet why I like the BG, but I do. I'm especially impressed how you handled the whites on the bird.

    Thanks. I didn't do any special PP on the pupil, so not sure why it looks unnatural.

    Very nice, great detail and the eye is fine with me. Animal eyes can be pretty alien looking at times!
