    Nice catch! I wonder if you can lighten up some of the areas of the hawk but I like the golden glow on the bird.

    This is a wonderful catch but the contrast is too high. Was it a raw capture? What processing software? What settings?

    It should be possible to increase the exposure a little and lighten the darkest tones a little. Check the histogram for lights and darks -- it can be more accurate than a monitor, and definitely better than a laptop screen.

    Yes it was raw diane! it was sunset time when i captured . i will remove the shadow little bit as others said.
