    Default Long-tailed Duck Fly By

Though a rather common duck in our Long Island winter waters, I never tire of them and had a nice day yesterday with good wind conditions for some flight images.

    Thanks for looking.

Excellent up wing pose and details against the deep blue water, Grace.

Beautiful shot, Grace! Excellent exposure, BG and pose. I would leave less space at the bottom and more space at the top.

Hi Grace - Nice light and there's an elegance to the image. Love the deep blue of the water, it really sets off the long tail. Nice job on the exp too.

Hi Grace, you certainly nailed this flight pose, not to mention the exposure, detail and sharpness. Love how the duck pops against the blues of the water, and thats a fair 'round belly'

Nice looking flight frame Grace! I like the pose and the fact that there isn't much shadowing in him. The techs and exposure look great and the HA looks good too.
Just wondering how he swallowed that bowling ball Nice work Grace.

Fantastic image. Every thing is absolutely super.
Love the way it pops up against beautiful blues.

Like everything about this image, Grace. Wonderful wings up position and that long curved down tail. Nice details all over. Well done.

Beautiful exposure and sharp details. Love the contrasting deep blue water bg. I would move the bird further down in the frame.
