    Default Backlit Leopard

Followed my favourite Leopard Nzilu for about 45 min, the reason she is my favourite is her personality. She seems to have lost a bit of her playful streak but I swear she seems to love posing for people, almost as though she enjoys the company of vehicles. She was moving around and I managed to get a selection of images in varying positions and poses.

Hi Dumay, I think this illustrates so well your point earlier in Tim's thread about sharpening, although I think this was done through PS rather than LR.

Just gorgeous, classic pose, killer BKG (nice muted colours), doesn't get much better . Will wait until tomorrow, as I was just about to post the Leopard we both saw with the kill with JP, need to ask Rachel for her name, the Leopard that is.

A cracking frame bud - just love the soft light, the muted BG and the intent gaze.
I was thinking of suggesting a slight crop from RHS but decided I like it better as is...

This is stunning! I agree with all the above, plus I really like the soft rim of light outlining her muzzle and down her chest.

Hi Dumay stunning statue like image/portrait with tons of detail to look at and nice tones . Very nice soft light and a stunning clean soft BKG.
As colors are subjective , i might go for more neutrality in the shadow areas . And i might reduce the magenta/lila in the BG by the HSL slider in ACR . But as you say do not take it as a gospel , just thought by me .

    Nice work , TFS Andreas

Thanks for taking the time to look and comment folks.

Andreas...I am so glad i have no magenta in the subject, except for the little coming through on the lit rim of the animal. I will tolerate it in the BG

A stunning shot, Dumay! The leopard & BG colours are simply made for each other. Nice sharpness and I love the cool stare!

Hi Mate, lovely soft light here, and I like your choice of comp with regards to how much leopard is in the frame. Great rim light down the mouth and breast. Well captured.
