Great BG and love the position of the head. Very nice!

What a classic pose and perch for this YHBB and that green BG looks great . Due to the exposure settings that the camera chose, and the light angle, most of the blacks are heavily blocked.
This is a good example of why and when manual exposure works best.
I like to shoot YHBBs at 1\3 to 2\3 over to get the best out of the blacks, then recover the yellows a bit if needed. Good luck

I love the pose and perch. The vertical presentation works well. Yes, some of the blacks are blocked and David offered some good advice. You could also use a bit of fill flash to get some details in there.

Nice pose and background. I would have traded some shutter speed for f stop to get more DOF.
