    I captured this image of a Great Blue Heron trying to sneak by at Circle B Bar Reserve mid-afternoon last Thursday. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Good capture Joe. Nice to have broken cloud in the background. It would be even better had the bird been flying a little bit more towards you but the bird did not know that. Good work. Regards, Ian

    This image isn't a wowzer for me. The wing position is not pleasing. It's flying a little bit away from you. I am not seeing really good feather details as in many of your other images. I do like the varied sky, and glad you were able to get some light up under the wing.

    I like the side-on view. Wing position is OK for me -- strikes me as sort of an alert glide pose. Nice light under the wing.
