Terrific image! Very nicely composed, liked the exposure and subtle tones. The expression in the eyes, the gaze slightly away, the fingers appearing fragile and yet nimble, it evokes a warm emotion in me that is hard to describe, perhaps wonder and happiness come close.

Nice image Ben. The comp, the DOF emphasising the eyes, the BG work well.

Hi Ben - Nice portrait with rich complementary tones in the bg that really set off the vervet. There's some yellow coming through on the chest that if it were mine, I would reduce.

He was sliding up and down in the wild banana trees looking for flowers. The dark yellow of the bark caused the discolorisation on the arm and chest. The whites on the face is still white. He was munching a piece of the flower. Ben

Hi Ben. Nice soft light and pleasing tones on this one.
I do think the eyes/head are slightly soft (your SS was a bit low), and perhaps there's a focus issue as well as the hands seem a bit sharper than the face?

Hi Ben , nice composed portrait with a very pleasing BKG and good colors and tones . I agree with Morkel regarding sharpness/focus .
