Default Two outside Linebackers and one middle

We had the please of an encounter with three Rhinos at this watering hole, quite formidable to say the least and all three in prime condition. I hadn't noticed until processing the two Red-billed Ox Peckers feeding. The left one was a bit skittish, however the middle & right soon settled down and started to drink quite quickly at this some what muddy pool.

Thanks for either viewing or commenting on the previous image.

Hi Steve - a great sighting and you handled the harsh light well. Your Britishness is showing because these are clearly lineman rather than linebackers. You even got your oxpeckers in the image. Nice low pov too.

Hi Steve great to see three of these guys in very good condition !! Well handled light even if already on the hard side , you managed to get good details in both HL and SH . I like the overall color and tones you achieved , but the sharpening of the grass on LHS and on waters edge is tad too crunchy for my liking , jumping into my eye .
Comp works good like wise the low POV .

I like the trio & the image looks really nice with good detail inspite of the harsh light. I would love to see more from this sighting (rhinos drinking)

Superb IQ and textures. I love the title. Its amazing the girth on these guys. Good job on getting detail in the shadow areas.

Always a special sighting, especially these days Steve
Light/exposure well handled, don't we wish the golden light would stay all day??
It may just be the shoreline of the pool but if feels optically as if it needs a slight CW rotation...?

Such a unique sighting and photograph ... well done and at roughly 200mm you weren't too far away.

Thanks folks, always great to see these 'Big old Units' in real life and not on a wall or indeed a book!

Had thought the same thing Morkel, it just tails off on the LHS a we fraction.
