It's a wee bit tight all round, if this is a crop then I would pull out a bit more, (always add in the intro if this is a crop, big or small). I think it has suffered in the same way as the baboon, but hopefully things will slowly be addressed now you know what to lookout for.
Hi Wil, Thank you for your input.....Those birds fly like the wind and have to be some of the most difficult to capture to you have to shoot multiple frames and hope that one or two just do the job...

I agree the crop was a little tight but I did it that way to try and compose a little better....Point taken though and I will watch out for that going forward.
Not sure about your question " Was this Brendon C?".... I guess you mean Brendon Cremer? No... we did the trip with Grant Atkinson and Guts Swanepoel on the Pangolin Photo Safaris boat which is actually based in Kasane ( Botswana )

Hi Tim, you should check his Carmine Bee eaters out. Yep know Bots well, just working on something over the next few months I hope on that score. With the 1Dx there are some excellent setting options for this, Arash & David S are guys you need to look at & perhaps get a Arash's PDF too for BIF?
I'm sure somewhere there is a thread on acronyms somewhere???

Yes I am familiar with Brendon's work and his stuff is seriously good... I am a great fan of his work as well as guys like Morkel Erasmus, Grant Atkinson, Guts Swanepoel.... We have many really good 'Togs down here and just to aspire to their levels is a great motivating factor.
I don't know Arash or David S but will check their stuff out as I find just seeing other people's work is inspirational and never too proud to admit that I need lots of improvement...
