    Default Hawk on a Mustang

Every so often one will come upon a bird in an unusual place. Yesterday, Norm and I were doing some errands at a local strip mall. When we returned to the truck Norm noticed a large bird on the car near us. We got close with the truck but the only camera available was the cell phone. I got a picture before it flew away. I think it was a Coopers hawk from the size. It was much larger than the sharp-shinned hawk that frequents the area around our house.

I'm wondering who the owner of that mustang will blame for the damage to the rag top! He'd never suspect a hawk I'm sure.

I think that hawk knew what it was doing, because there often are pigeons and gulls around that parking lot. He seemed to be using the Mustang as a blind!
