    A juvenile Martial Eagle takes flight in pursuit of Guinea Fowl. 08.29 the light was already against me.
    Chichele salt pan, Sth Luangwa Nat Park- Zambia.

    D4s 500 f/4 VR 1/4000s f/5.6 ISO400 -1 EV Bean bag front pax seat, ACR PS/CC. 20% crop.

    Hi Marc,
    Dynamic lift-off pose.
    I had a bit of trouble finding the head. The birds left eye and side of head merge into the shoulder and that make it hard to immediately see the head. I would do some significant dodging of this area.
    I do like how I can see the foot and ventral surface of the splayed tail.
    Good composition as well.
    Beautiful eagle to get in flight.

    Killer turning pose. Lots of ways to try to open up the dark side of the face. Have you tried NIK CEP Detail Extractor?

    Hey Marc. an excellent flight pose. The comp looks good, I echo Gail's thoughts on the head being difficult to find. I think the shot is worth a little further processing.

    Yes I have Artie, but as you know one must use it judiciously. but worth some further investigation.
