    Love the wonderful action and pose you captured here Steve. Great eye contact and I like your crop leaving more room to the left for him to fly out. IMO the crop is excellent with sufficent canvas at the bottom and top. Congratulations on having such a great opportunity and I am glad they are both alright.

    The composition you chose is excellent, just maybe a bit more room at bottom is needed. However, the "substantial crop" is showing it's negative effects.

    This is precious, Steve, the pine needles are a great setup and the raised wings make him look so special. Gray sky marks a mood!
