    Default Theme: Cat Fantastic

I saw that Dave Phillips had an entire section on cats, as well as many sections on animals fantastic. Here is my version of Cat Fantastic! Toby belongs to my grand daughters in South Africa and he has those moments of manic play in-between long stretches of sleeping in the sun. Here I believe he is channeling his inner lion .

Fractalius, a glow preset I created, and Topaz Impressions smudged II; PS adjustments.

I like the action you caught and the exaggeration of the fur. The background is good, too. It's nice that it echoes some of the colors of the cat, and it's varied without being distracting. Of course, with the expression on Toby's face and the outreached paw it'd be hard for anything else to compete for attention.

This is a lovely image Nancy.

Beautiful editing. I like the background texture that highlights the cats furry texture. I also love how the image captures 3 simple colors, and that there is just enough brightness in the whites that peak at the cat's nose. A pleasing image to look at, you did well!

Wonderful pose and expression. The dark bg works nicely to make the whiskers stand out. I might tone down the fractilius a bit, especially around the whiskers on the right side (as viewed by us).

    Nancy,

Greetings. The expression is priceless! The explosive lighting and whiskers works to perfection. Good show! Thanks for posting.

Dave loved cats and Fractalius and humor - you've got that all rolled into one

I think he is channelling his inner lion. Very dynamic with strong angled lines accentuated by the fractalius. Nicely done Nancy.
