The complementary colors really make an impact. I wonder about toning the colors above the water down just a bit because of the softness of the foreground or else making the foreground less soft. It must've been wonderful to see and, probably, hear this in person.
This is the essence of Bosque; stunning skies, backdrop of mountains and a foreground full of geese! I especially like that subtle middle layer of fall trees and shrubs just in front of the blue mountains.
I have never been to Bosque, but the gentle processing and wonderful colors of your images makes me want to go!
Something doesn't quite work for me in this image. (I'm sorry.) The horizontal line in the middle of the image is confusing--I can't quite figure out what it is. I wish the birds were not blue. I don't see a point of focus. But, I do love the colors.
Hi, Kerry, at first I had an initial reaction similar to Anita's. But looking at this again I like the almost 3D effect that you've gotten and of course the Bosque colors.
