This is an iPhone 5s photo of a fabulous new local restaurant in an old building downtown where we had just eaten lunch. It is named for old Hwy 82 known as "Main Street" in downtown. First edited on the phone with Snapseed, and then I used a merging of the original, Topaz Impression, Portrait Painter by jixipix, and Exposure 7 at various opacities. Then I added a canvas texture. I pumped up the colors and warmed it a bit as it was very overcast. I am pretty pleased with the resulting image and the restaurant liked it!

I like the way it turned out. Nice perspective and colors. It's fun to see the icicle decorations in the windows and the pansies blooming outside. The reflection you caught in the upper left with the traffic lights shows a nice contrast to what otherwise appears as a quiet side street.

Hi, Judy, I like the way this turned out - bright and sunny looking - it doesn't look like it's January. Great combination of filters

I can see why the restaurant loved it. It is winter ("Happy New Year, etc) but the rest of the environment (flowers, etc) allow it to be a "year round" image.
I continually am amazed at what the iPhone can do for us.

I would love this if it were my restaurant for sure! Love the colors and the compositional elements that work so well together. Good eye!

Love the array of bright colors, & the many details for the eye to take in! The compositional repeating rectangles of the sidewalk, all the bricks, the rectangle design in front of the restaurant, the signs, the windows, etc. pull all the elements and colors together. Very well seen and processed!

Love it! REally nice!!! Great composition and processing. I love the bright colors, the reflections, the many shapes, the strong diagonals. Excellent work! I used Skew to make the building's vertical lines straight, and though it was a bit better.

Thanks Anita! My eyes must be off because I thought they were straight! Should have used a grid. I'll check it out tomorrow.
