Hi, Mitch, this is a striking image and I like the way you conveyed winter. I think I would like it with all of the dark ocean at the bottom cropped so that just the thin line of light ocean and shore is remaining. But I like this version also

I like the elements you have, here, and the bits of orange in an otherwise mostly gray image. Cheryl's suggestion has merit, I think. I took the image into the Camera Raw Filter to reduce the clarity a bit and liked it that way, too.

I really like this one Mitch. Nice painterly look and feel. I like your composition as is; I feel that the water at the bottom gives it a different perspective. I agree with Dennis on the clarity, the image feels a bit "crunchy" to my eye. Nice job!

The gull looks frazzled...as if he has been battling storms all day . Maybe less crunchy, as Kerry says, could be a possible adjustment. I do like those ominous clouds with the contrasting lightness behind the bird, adding drama.

I like this image just the way you have it Mitch. I like how the background details have a painterly look while the bird has a more "crunchy" look to separate it. The dark vignetting lends to the drama, as does the birds wing positions and stare. Very creative.
