    Hi,

I made this image of Lesser Flameback back in November in Bangalore. Tech specs as follows:

Canon 500f/4 L IS USM Lens on Canon 5D MK III

    Aperture priority shooting..
    f/6.3, 1/500, ISO- 500.

Extended the canvas to the right for better composition..

Comments & Critics are most welcome..

Wow, that is some subject! Love that red crest, IQ is great, nice perch, nice expression and HA on the bird, BG looks great. Only crit I can see is stopping down more would have helped with your DoF.

Very nice inded . I agree re depth of field but maybe shutter speed would have been too low. Grand looking bird whatever/.

Nice detail, beautiful colours reminding me somewhat of our Cardinal Woodpecker in this side of the globe (South Africa)! Nice pose, composition & BG. Well done!

Wow, looks like a psychedelic copy of the Pileated Woodpecker we have here. Nice colors and detail. Thank you for sharing.

What a ridiculously beautiful bird, Subbu. Just love the pose, the IQ and the slanted perch. The bird pops against the clean nice bg. I could see moving the bird further into the frame a bit. Very well done!
