Sort of blind luck-tring to get an angle on another bird and this one drops in for a visit. I thanked 'em.

Gotta love when they cooperate that way. A couple of notes for this one ... more room on the bottom for the 'virtual' feet. .. wish the sun was a bit more to your back to even the shadows on the back of the head ... and it appears to need a CW rotation. The last is probably a bit of an optical illusion as the waves look like they were coming in at an angle. Still a nice capture regardless of the minor points mentioned above.

    Hi Dan,

Very sharp and the exposure looks on the money. I have to agree about the feet, and I wish the beak was not touching the wing. However, I don't agree with the CW rotation.

Great pose. Reminds me of a kid pretending to be an airplane. Good detail in the whites as well.

Stunning pose !!! It looks so regal and your exposure is excellent. I agree about the beak but still an outstanding capture Dan. Wish it were mine < smile >

Quite lovely, if a little tight. The green in the bg makes it nicer.

What a pretty bird and an excellent exposure. The green in the bg for me is a plus. Yeah, the beak is touching the wing but sometimes we take what we get!
