    Default Wood Duck

This was taken a few months ago in the late evening light. The duck was too close and I didn't have enough time to remove the TC before it flapped.... Wish I had more room around.

Binu I personally like to see the frame full, really like how all the the almost pastel colours blend so well, nice outstretched wing pose looks great.

Hi Binu, excellent IQ, love the soft light, which in turn has brought out the exposure on the various colours so well. Great low perspective, sharp, and well timed to get the wing flap. Killer BG too.

    Stunning capture.
Beautiful light, great wing flap with a slight head turn towards the viewer, awesome IQ and BG.
    Can't ask for anything more!
I personally think the duck fits perfectly within the frame

This is a cracker capture. Well done Binu... I would not be too stressed out about not having more space as looks great from where I am sitting. Love the BG and reflection in the water.

It fits nicely in the frame for me also, everything works here, beautiful, background, pose, light, I really like the calm water in the foreground, and just enough. A sold shot.

Stunning image Binu! I like the low angle, IQ, exposure, wing position, light and composition. That single water drop below the tail puts it over the top for me.

I wouldn't have cropped it any wider anyway, so looks great in that department. The colors on a drake woddie are some of the best in the avian world and you did a fine job capturing them. Nice frame Binu

I too think the size of the subject in the frame is perfect as is. I suppose if you need to print in a 5:4 ratio it may get too tight though, but as is it is excellent. Full wingspread is impressive. Great techs and processing.

A beauty, I think the colors though are a tad subdued....
