    Nice classic nuthatch pose.
Too bad the sun was in when you took this image.
I like the snow and the knoll on the tree adds something different to this image,

Lovely little bird to land in your sight Karl. Great pose and POV. The bird is nice and sharp I like the upturned head angle. Good perch and the snow adds to it. Good work.

Hey Karl. Perfect pose, exposure, sharpness. Really love the bark texture with the snow on the bump. The white on the nuthatch looks a little gray, maybe some selective lightening will help it pop?

    Looking forward to more!

Hi Karl, isnt it great when you are shooting one subject, when a different subject appears close by, and you come home with more than expected. Love the knoll of the tree which the Nuthatch is perched on, and good detail on the little guy too.

A classic pose and a unique looking perch make this frame for me. The details look great too but I might consider adding a bit of saturation and contrast to the bird since the sun wasn't out to add more color. Well done Karl.

Very nice nuthatch, maybe a tad more contrast to set it off a bit?
I like snow and the BG color....

I like the perch, pose, composition and ice pick claws digging into the snow really adds interest for me. Well done Karl.
