This Crimson Rosella was captured whilst perched on a Banana tree in my garden(the remains of their past meals can be seen along the perch).

    Hi Michael,

And where is your garden, asked she?

Very lovely. I would go bakc on the saturation a bit to shoe more feather detail and a bit more room for the tail if you have it.

    What a bird :)

Fabs, I live within a rainforest area near Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

I did try Arthurs tip by the reducing the red saturation level on this image:D, can't remember if this was full frame or not will check the original.

    Cheers Mike

Very nice image, Michael. I love those Australian birds. Fabs mentioned the space on the bottom and I would add that it could go a bit brighter for my taste. Keep them coming.

This image has a lot to like. The bird is obviously gorgeous and you've got a nice pose and BG. To take it up a notch I would suggest some fill flash and, since this is a setup, a more attractive perch.

I lived in Brisbane for 6 months. Its a really nice city!
