    Hi everyone,
After posting some tiger pics, I am back to my Timbavati images. Here is a family of elephants crossing our path on a morning game drive.

    Dear Sanjeev,

Lovely morning greeting from the ellies and I like the soft light, I guess this was around say, 06:30 am? I notice you had to up the ISO to 800, do you have some at higher ISO?
I like the way the subjects enter the scene, with the little one almost rushing to get in front, ears back...some eye you are getting from the bigger ellie, I guess he was checking whether it was all safe to proceed:)

Perhaps this image might benefit from a couple of small adjustments, like taking off a bit from the bottom and raising exposure on the subjects alone - what do you think? I feel the ellies themselves are a bit dark yet there's enough detail on them which you can reveal by doing so.

Overall I really like the scene you have captured and especially the inclusion of environment, those fallen branches on the RHS might be the work of the very same elephants we are looking at:) The place is obviously thirsty for some rain, was this taken in the winter?

Thank you for sharing this Sanjeev, also for your kind comments on my images, wishing you a great week ahead,
    Gabriela Plesea

True winter South African Bushveld scene. It makes me look forward to next winter. Nice detail and good behaviour (Clustered herd) captured.

Hi Sanjeev - Nice grouping of the eles and they're all moving in the same direction. Nice light hitting the foreheads and the deep shadows look natural given the direction of the light. I agree with Dumay, it has a winter in the bush feel to it.

    TFS,
    Rachel

I like the soft light and colors of this one Sanjeev. I also like the tight grouping of the subjects and I think the road provides a nice curve to the image.
