    I captured this Green Heron fishing a while back at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Wow, right out there way into the open! I like the hunting behaviour, and I also like the perch and streaks of colour in the water. Body angling away from us is a bit unlucky, but the image still is highly effective and well balanced.

    Great looking image Joe. I love the 'ready to attack' pose, and how this bird is balanced on the perch. Nice one

    Lovely artistic image with an impressionistic feel to the water. I think that I would play with sharpening the bird, or maybe just give him a bit more contrast. Feathers look a bit smooth and I think could be punched up a bit. Wish I had such a nice image of a green heron in my files.

    Love the SH, the EXP, and the alert pose and posture. As noted, the bird is slightly angled away. Moving to your left if possible would have helped.

    Beautifully captured Joseph. Love how alert and focused he is.... over-the-top would have been if we had a bit of what he was "after", and may have compensated for the HA. But, we do know that it is something likely yummy! (well, for him). Love the detail and the hunting perch.
