Nice leading lines, and Topaz really brings out the snowy twigs. I like the to black and white look to simplify the image.

Hi, Judy, I remember this one. I love the black and white and glow treatment. I especially like the faint outlines of trees in the background. I'm glad you left them in.

Great combination of filters for the moody effect! I really like the effect of the layers, from the more solid foreground with the road, to the mid-ground with the tunnel and then leading upwards, getting softer with fainter details and finally to white. I also remember this image from a previous posting. Good images deserve more than one interpretation.

I remember your posting the earlier version, too. It's be interesting to go back and see what my reaction was to that one. I tried flipping this one horizontally but decided I prefer it the way you show it. Mostly, I think, it's because of the leaning trees on the right edge drawing the eyes down to the road. It's nicely composed, and I really like the look of the trees. In fact, I might be inclined to lighten the darks of the tunnel and curbs to give the trees a larger role.

I remember this one. A strong image. I like those wild trees. Dennis has an interesting suggestion.
