I still like the series of photos better, from which I uploaded one photo the other day. But I think this is rather OK too. It's not the most common thing to capture even though I have been sitting in hides six weeks or more with (but very often without) Golden Eagles. Even on this occation the snow falls, so that was lucky.
I believe these are rather young ones too.
Canon Eos 1 D Mark III, 70-200/2,8 at 200 mm. ISO 800, 1/320 s., aperture 5.
I like the way the snowfall contributes to the overall mood of the photo. Not bad for 200mm. I prefer the original post to this one because the eagles were in the act of fighting. Hard to tell what's been going on in this photo. Thanks for posting!
Yes, this one is rather OK. You need to spend more time at home with your young daughter!

Good DOF and noticed the f/5 and thought that was a lot of DOF for a long lens and then saw the lens, 70-20mm f/2.8 - better DOF then say a 600mm at f/5. This shows a good reason for including techs like Brutus did.
I think the action is great and w/o that DOF might not be so dramatic.
