    Anti-theme; I'm giving up on black birds. Here's a white one - a Tundra Swan from Chincoteague shortly before sunset in November.

    D7000, 500f4 + 1.4, ISO 800, 1/1600s @ f/7.1 manual, gitzo and mongoose.

    I like the light, wing position, incoming pose, exposure, landing gear and composition. Very well done Bill.

    Also love the light, the bird pose and composition, just wish the left wing weren't slightly cropped*. It's a nice image, full of movement!

    Light, subject, and setting are gorgeous. I can't make up my mind about those OOF reeds in the FG. I both like them and find them just a little distracting. Perhaps burning them or lowering their luminosity.
