This bald eagle image was taken from a boat on Kachemak Bay, near Homer, Alaska (one of Artie's IPT's). The eagle was catching the early morning sun, but the dark cliff in the background was not. Any C & C appreciated.

Beautiful shot Mike. That could easily have gone wrong with the bird being a similar colour to the BG but the light on the bird sets is apart perfectly. Great wing down pose, fantastic experience captured superbly

Great shot. You have beautiful light, details in the feathers and face, and a nice wing position. Not sure if I would have preferred the bird to be lower into the water or higher into the darks?
