    Default Painted Stork misses a fish

    Happy new year!
    After a long time posting an image in this forum :)

    Shot with Nikon D810, Nikon AF-S 600mm f4 IF ED II
    EXIF: 600mm, f6.3, 1/1250s, ISO250
    Post Processing: 50% crop (to bring the attention to the small fish), levels/curves correction, sharpness, saturation

    I like this a lot Poorna. Very nice crop. Good light, pretty subject, interesting action. I'd sharpen the bird's head a little more.

    Great timing for an interesting interaction. I understand you going in close with the fish, but wish for just a little more of the storks body to be on show. Personal choice obviously

    Love the splas and the fish!
    Nice light and excellent POV.
    If the IQ can handle it, I would try a tight vertical composition,
