Brent Goose | A rarity in Portugal
Today I bring a Brent Goose, which is a rarity in Portugal with very only 13 registers in the country, until 2010. It's easy to see that it's not a portuguese/iberian bird as it was pretty easy to approach him :)
I pictured it hand hold, sited on the ground in a low position, in the early morning.

Congrats on getting this rarity for you. The light is nice and the angle of it on the bird looks good too. I wish the BG was all green but the FG isn't as desirable. Maybe clone out the OOF part. Nice work.
Come join me for a Custom Raptor Workshop starting this November 2019- January 2020.
P.M. me to inquire on dates, pricing and availabilities. Thank You.

Congratulations on the rarity! The Brant is a cute little goose, and one I enjoy seeing and photographing when it does show up over here. Usually every fall one or two will come to shore and spend a few days grazing on grasses before moving on. Nice light and head angle. I love the BG. The FG not as much due to the large tan area that tends to pull the eye.

Its always nice to get a rare bird or one you have not shot before. You got good light on him and a nice head turn. the upper portion of the background is good, I would also blend the tan in the foreground.

Thank you for your feedbacks!
I cloned out the OOF part of the FG that had more impact for me. Do you think it's better this way?

Yes, it is much better. The lower edge is cleaner, and the eye does not get distracted by that spot anymore. Good job!

Tiago, You did better cloning out the lower area, But you have used part of the birds legs as the area to clone from.
