Default Little owl in late evening January sun

This image as taken me years to get ,I have many images over the years of the Birds mostly March through to September but getting the Bird in winter especially in January really made my day,for me personally seeing the bird land on the stone in the last bit of sun of the day was a experience I wont forget even though I have been watching , observing and photographing these birds for over 10 years and all with a 300mm f4 and a 400mm 5.6,he just looked so majestic with the sun on his side ,I had a piece of wood in front of me that was OOF and just under the rock ,hence the lack of space ,I have not added any vibrancy or saturation from the RAW image......Canon 1D MKIV 300MM F4 AT F4,ISO 640 1/320 sec Little owl in some late evening January sun (1 of 1) by den9112, on Flickr

Lovely light, details and colors. Love seeing the feet here, but wish for a tad more room below.

It's a beauty. You could easily add just a little to the bottom and make it perfect.

I love the light and pose! I'm becoming addicted to the blue and gold hour :)

You could try to add some canvas in the bottom with PS.

Love the slight tilt of the head like he is really considering what you were up to!

Excellent lighting, sharpness and details. I agree with others that a little more space on the bottom would have made it just perfect!
