Hi Marc - I think I prefer this to the color version. The baobab trees make great b&w subjects. I think its also more dramatic with this treatment.

    Rachel

This is lovely Marc - I like everything, from the title to the scene. Composition is great, those trees look awesome against that mottled sky and the lion is in the right spot

Hope you are having a fun week-end, here hot and humid and after a morning of cleaning and tidying indoors, I am at last glued to the computer with a cup of great coffee

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Marc a happy new year to you ,
a nice one to enter the theme and year , i prefer this one (with nice tones ) to the color version , no blues !!
Those baobabs do look great and the lion is placed nicely in the frame .

I agree, Marc, this came out nicely.
I do wish that the lion was slightly lower in the frame - there's a shrub coming out of his back - #idealworld stuff eh?

    Hi Marc

The image is very dramatic with just the Baobabs and the sky, the lion just takes it over the top.

    Well processed!

    Andre.

I would of preferred the lion in the bottom left hand corner of the frame, just giving him a bit more space to walk into within the image.

    Nice conversion though
