    Dan:

My favorite bit is the transillumination of the tail. It looks a bit sharper than the face. Wish the head didn't merge with the wing root.

Her right wing tip looks a bit fuzzy. The colors in the bg go well with her.

    Cheers

Overall image design is good but the IQ and focus lets the image down. The BG has been processed too much to eliminate noise and this has resulted in an over smooth and posterised BG. Your selection process has not gone to the edge of the bird. Whereas most of your images are superb this one is not your best. I'm sorry if I sound harsh.

The focus and sharpness could be better and it looks like a big crop, but I don't see posertisation in the BG, it looks good to me.

Huge crop, maybe 15% of full frame.
I agree about all the critiques, I had Ducks on the brain in anticipation of the Oregon football game.
    Thanks for the responses.....

Great colors in the bg! The focus, as mentioned, is a bit off. I also noticed that there is something going on near the tail of the bird. Almost as if there was noise reduction done to the bg, but the area around the tail was not included?
