found this little guy this morning on lover's key. there are a ton of nests and a few newborns. everything is roped off for their protection, which i think is great so you take what you can get.
D300, Bigma at 500mm, f/11, 1/1600s, -0.3EV, ISO 500, flash fill with no bb at +3.0EV.

Despite the small size of the chick in the frame this is an effective image as it perfectly depicts their fragility. Two inches higher by you would have made it a bit better (perhaps).
