This must be what a mushroom looks like to an ant ! Good focus stack to get all those details on the mushroom.

This is wonderful! I love the ant's view, as Nancy so well characterized it, and the colors are beautifully blended with the gorgeous sky. Flood is such a nice touch here, too.

My new favorite of yours, Mitch. Really like the detail in the mushrooms and your scene creation.

    Mitch,

Greetings. Really great image! Reminds me of a Yes album cover (artist Roger Dean). The focus stack works well with the fantasy. Good show!

    Cheers,

Beautiful mushrooms and sky. I like the line drawing look of the mushroom details. Lovely sky. It seems a bit strange for the mushrooms to be growing out of the water. Great point of view.

Lolol...I agree with Anita about the mushrooms growing out of the water but its a eye catching image. Maybe a crop from the bottom?

The unexpected water is my favorite part of an otherwise amazing image. The Flood effect is so well done! I assume the sky/cloud reflections are natural -- I'd think it wasn't easy to blend in the flood effect for the mushrooms.

Totally surreal! Love the light on the shrooms and their scale compared to the rest of the scene. Perfect OOTB image!
