    Image from April of this year at Barnegat, NJ. Though I would have liked to have the tail up with this nonbreeding male, also liked getting the idea of its length partially submerged. C&C welcome.

    D3s, Nikon 500mm + 1.4 tc, 1/1000, f 6.3, ISO 800, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley Gimbal head.

    Nice detail and eye contact. I also like the water color and patter.

    A fine duck image Geoffery. The background water colour nicely complements the elegantly subdued shades of this handsome little fellow.
