Default Myakka State Park December 21st

I have to disagree with Marina in another thread about the level of activity here. Yes the water is still high i some areas but there was a lot of activity yesterday at the boardwalk, and at the bridge. I saw a lot of Hawks, some warblers, many spoonbills, Wood Storks, shore birds, Coots, deer. It was a wonderful day!!! On December 22 I was at Oscar Scherer, and it was very dead there.

There can be some good activity at the board walk, Steve, but it's normally not the best for bird photography. I was at the park yesterday, the water has gone down some, but was only able to get good photos of one bird. I guess one bird is better than no bird.
