    Default Springing into action!

The Ndutu (part) pride of 4 females and their 6 cubs, spent the late afternoon chillin' out on the beachfront that is the Luangwa river dry floodplain.
It was aproaching dusk and the cubs sprang into playtime action! I love the counter balanced tail on the approaching cub.

    South Luangwa Nat Park- Zambia.

D4s 500 f/4 VR 1/640s f/5.6 ISO6400. Around 20% crop, with light @ a premium, ramped up to 6400, NR on BG only, Levels, curves, mid point adj's in ACR/PS CC.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers
    Marc

Merry Xmas to all here @ Wildlife & BPN!

Fun image Marc, you got the little chap. Somehow I thing they have a tad to much contrast. Maybe just me!!

Wish you as well Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Great action, I love the pose of the left youngster. The eyes wide open make it for me. Nice one Marc!

Hi Marc - Great action and love the look of the one on the left and the tail straight up. I agree with Anette, perhaps a tad too contrasty but still impressive at ISO 6400.

    TFS and Merry Christmas,
    Rachel

Hi Marc very nice action shot with a priceless position /expression of the little one facing us .I am fine with the tones and contrast .
A bit more SS would have been great for more sharpness , think you can push the D4 further with the ISO and still retain good quality if you overexpose .
