    My 2nd upload, Tawny in Flight was captured in Wales, UK

    Conditions - Dry & overcast, 100% cloud cover.
    WB - Cloudy.
    Canon 20D with Sigma 18-200 DC OS handheld.
    ISO - 400
    1/800 at f6.3.

    Simon the low-level flight is nice but I might suggest some selecetive sharpening of the face of the bird.

    I love getting owls flying right at you. Nice contrast between the grass and the owl. I agree though that the bird is not sharp. It can be hard to keep focus with a bird moving directly toward you. Try the selective sharpening on the head as it will improve it.
