This was taken at a field near my house today. It took a while to get this close for the image. There were two Snowies in the same area for the past two weeks. I am hoping to get them on some snow when it gets colder. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Wow, wish they were in a field near my house. Nice image Jim. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Nice pose and eye contact, Jim. The brown for- and background sets the Snowy off nicely.
I haven't found my Snowy this winter yet.

    Jim:

Great eye contact, exposure, shooting angle perfect for this setting. Yes, snow will be nice, but you did very well with what was available.

    Cheers

Amazing bird. Great shooting angle and I love the contrast against the surrounding colors.

Jim it might not be snow but this magnificent Owl looks great in the setting you photographed him/her, excellent.

    Very best wishes for Christmas.

Lovely stare, excellent shooting angle and I'm loving the contrasting fg/bg. Very nicely done Jim.
