Default No lens data for 600f/4 (I) on Canon DPP

I had been using Canon DPP for a while, first with the older software and now with the new DPP 4 but I still donīt understand why Canon is not including information/lens data for the 600f/4 (I) which has become my primary lens!
I see a bunch of other lenses including the 500f/4 (I) but not the old big gun, any idea on why this is happening is highly appreciated!

Hi Juan i cannot help you with your wish , sadly .
Just hope for the better , the old 500 was also just recently added .

I am also hoping they will at least support older EOS Pro models for DPP 4 , i talked to Canon Germany a while ago and they told me there will more support coming ......... but when ? At least they seem to develop DPP 4 a bit faster in all terms compared to DPP 3 , which does not seem to be that important for them .

    Cheers Andreas

The super telephoto lenses don't really need the DLO module. Zoom and wide lenses benefit from DLO so support for the super teles is pretty much immaterial.

Yep, this is what I have read as well. Plus, I believe it takes some time to apply the DLO, and if it's not needed why bother?!
