    Default Problems opening DPP installer

I recently downloaded the new DPP version 4.01.50 and there is no way I can install this software on my computer. I tryed uninstalling the former DPP 4.1.1 but now good luck.

    Thanks for your input.

Thanks for alerting us to the new DPP update Juan, I have installed it with no problems so I'm afraid I can't advise you where your problem is. This is actually a big update as it includes support for other cameras including the 7D and 1D Mark IV. Looks like you're going to be busy Arash and Artie

Thanks Nick! I tryed several things, I am running Windows 8.1 64bit and all I needed to do was to look, manually, for new updates for Windows and bingo! I was able to install the DPP upgrade with no problem!

As fate would have it just minutes ago I tried to update DPP on my laptop and I ran into a problem (the update did not recognize the existing version). I ended up downloading the composite installer that has all the Canon software components designed for those who can not use CDs. It worked fine.

  5. Thanks Juan Carlos Vindas thanked for this post
