two days of decent light here and very few birds. This one was cooperative, but used the wrong perch

7D2, 700mm, 1/800, f/7.1, ISO 800, hh, full frame.. usual PP. I really like the way the mid tones look here.

I wish the editing would let me correct the misspelled species name... ;)

Like the details and color of this close up. Good light and pose of the bird. You already mentioned the perch....... TFS.

    Cheers,

Nice image Enrique. Focus and exposure look spot on. I agree the perch would be nice if more natural.
This looks almost the same as our Dunnock in the UK.

I agree this is not the best perch in the world, but I love the pose, sharpness, colours, and light. Maybe a tad large in the frame.

I corrected the spelling in the title for you....

I like the details, clarity in the eye, BG and sharpness. A little large in the frame for me as well. Nice image Enrique.

You must have been at MFD on this shot. Killer details and nice eye contact. Stands out great against that sweet green BG. Now just get it on a nice perch. Well done
