Hi Sanjeev, nice look of the cat, but wish it would look a bit more in my direction. head being a bit more tilted to me. Details are fine, whiskers maybe a tad to much sharpening added.

    Have a great eve

    Lovely healthy looking leopard.
BG is a bit bright and busy for my taste and i might try to tame it selectively.
Great details on the cat but I wish the cat had been looking towards you to get the shadow off his face.
i like the little fly above the head. Keeps it real if you know what I mean!
I would take a sliver off the bottom to crop out the red blob in LHC and some of the OOF foliage running along the bottom of the frame.

Hi Sanjeev - Anette and Gail have covered it well. Nice look at the leopard with excellent detail. The bg is a bit busy. I'm not sure what your distance to the leopard was but you might have been able to shoot at f5.6 or f4 and still have enough dof for the leopard but have been able to blur the bg a bit more. Gail's crop suggestion is good. I would also back off on the sharpening if it was mine.

    Rachel

Lovely cat - can't add more to the above. You handled the exposure well given where the light was coming from.

Hi Sanjeev , very well controlled exposure for the light conditions . Nice detail overall but specially in the shadowed areas . Good color and tonal range.
Even with a head turn you would have had one half of the face in the shade , looking at the angle of light. So the comp works for me.

Agree with the BG being a bit busy and less DOF would have been good. And yes a nice looking cat .

Very nice detail & exposure here Sanjeev, it's a shame about the competing, busy BG, agree on the suggestions above re, USM and slight head turn.

    Hi Sanjeev.

I do agree. Nice portrait, but light is almost always everything.
