Nice wing position, and details. The water droplets on the wing and off the wing adds dynamics, Bill.

Lovely image Bill. The pose is great and I really like the colours of the water and background. The IQ looks very good for ISO 1000. Have you done some noise reduction as I always seem to have more noise at ISO 1000 with my D7000?

I like the open wings, and the horizontal lines to the BG. Neat water drops, with some even casting a shadow on the wings...very cool. The lack of a catchlight or reflection in the eye is a bit of a bummer for me, but that light direction made it difficult to get that in.

Very nice image. Love those water drops! I would had try adding a bit mor vibrance to the colors. I think it would give the image a bit more pop.

Hi Bill, good low angle of capture, and well timed to show the wingspread. Great feather detail on the underwings, sharp, and I do like the water reflection on the belly.

Like bird pose, moment and light. BG is noise free. Would like to see a bit more details and as mentioned by Raybel a bit more vibrance. TFS.

    Cheers,
    Miro

Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions.

Daniel, that lack of catchlight bothered me too. Not much I can do about it.

Iain, I almost always run Topaz Denoise on the background. I didn't run it on the bird.

Raybel and Miro, here's a repost that may have just a bit more vibrance and detail.

Hi Bill. Repost looks better. Maybe you can try to darken a bit BG. TFS.

    Cheers,
    Miro

I like the RP better Bill and I really like the wing position and the details in them. Nice green BG too. The HA is not the best but what can ya do. Well done
